Breaking Through the Stained Glass Ceiling

Interfaith Voices host Maureen Fiedler has released the first book based on Interfaith Voices. It’s called "Breaking Through the Stained Glass Ceiling: Women Religious Leaders in Their Own Words," and it chronicles women of faith who are blazing a path toward full gender equality.

The acceptance of women in positions of power is reaching a tipping point. Women are now heading denominations, interpreting scripture, re-imagining religious scholarship and leading worship services previously led only by men. It’s a trend that matters, not only for religion but the world at large.

In this book you’ll find interviews with inspiring, thoughtful women from a spectrum of traditions, including denominational leaders, theologians, scripture scholars, feminist thinkers, peace activists, working mothers and religion journalists. Please show us your support by purchasing a copy from Church Publishing or Amazon.com.

Update: The book is now available in a Kindle edition.
